Welcome to The UWinnipeg’s Online Awards Application!

New and current students are considered for multiple UWinnipeg scholarships, bursaries and awards through this online awards application portal.

1. For some awards, nothing more will be required to be considered – no application to fill out and no deadline to remember! Students are automatically matched and considered for awards based on the information from your UW student record.
2. By logging-in and completing online awards applications by specified deadlines, students are automatically matched and considered for additional awards based on the information provided in the application(s).
   For many award opportunities with more specific or detailed criteria, application is required to obtain additional information that can’t be found in your student record. For example: financial need info, volunteer experience, resume/C.V, reference letters, etc.

To apply:

• Click the Sign-in button at the top-right of this page and enter the same user name and password for your UWinnipeg email.
• Complete the General Application to be considered for awards which have specific open/closing dates.
• Watch for any messages asking you to submit additional info for application for other specific awards.
• Look under the Opportunities tab when logged-in for grants and other awards to apply for.

Dates and Deadlines:

• Winter 2023 In-Course Awards open until February 1, 2023.
• Entrance Awards 2023-24 open until March 1, 2023.

Additional award opportunities can be found by selecting the Opportunities drop down menu on the red bar above. Under Other, select “Grant”.

Note: Award values are subject to change. In most cases, awards will be applied to outstanding tuition first. The university reserves the right to recover awards funding if the student withdraws or otherwise becomes ineligible for an award.
