Rev. Gordon Fulford Bursary

This bursary was established by Grey Street United Church in honour of Reverend Gordon Fulford (Theology ’63) and is awarded to an Indigenous student with financial need who is pursuing studies in spirituality, religion, or justice.

The Rev. Gordon Fulford Bursary in Theology was established in 2004 by the Grey Street United Church Board and its congregation to honour Reverend Fulford, recognizing his lasting contribution to their church and the community it serves. In 2023, prompted by a university proposal to repurpose unused Theology Funds, the United Church generously redirected the bursary to support Indigenous students.
