Criminal Justice Students' Association Indigenous Student Scholarship

This scholarship is established to foster reconciliation within the University of Winnipeg, the Criminal Justice Department, and the Criminal Justice Students’ Association by recognizing an indigenous student pursuing education and a career in Criminal Justice.

To be considered, current students must have self-declared Indigenous ancestry and be majoring in Criminal Justice. Preference will be given to students accepted into the Criminal Justice Honours Program. Students must have completed a minimum of 60 credit hours with a minimum 3.5 CGPA. Selection is competitive.

Eligible students will be required to submit a short written statement indicating why they want to pursue a career in criminal justice and how they intend to contribute to the indigenous community.
