Barry and Lynn Jones Wesmen Athletic Scholarship

Established by the Jones Family on the occasion of Lynn’s retirement after more than 44 years of employment at The University of Winnipeg. It is awarded to a full-time continuing undergraduate student with high academic standing, who is a member of The University of Winnipeg athletic program. The successful candidate must have already completed at least 18 credit hours prior to the beginning of the current academic year and have been a member of the Wesmen program for at least one season. This award will be presented at the annual Wesmen Athletic Awards Banquet. Barry and Lynn and their sons Marshal and Bryce have been supporters of the Wesmen program since 1994, and Marshall was a member of the Mens Volleyball Team from 2003 to 2006.
