Professor Gordon G. Blake Memorial Scholarship in Economics

Established by the family, friends, and colleagues of Professor Blake, a distinguished scholar and professor at The University of Winnipeg from 1949 to 1977. Professor Blake was the Chairman of the Economics Department during these years and a Dean of Arts and Science from 1958–1960. This scholarship will be awarded to two students with high standing in either Economics 2101 or 2102 who are entering the third or fourth year of a Major or Honours program in Economics, excluding “Economics and Finance” Majors.
