India Centre Bursary

This bursary will provide funding to a University of Winnipeg student from Manitoba’s Indo-Canadian community who demonstrates financial need. Preference will go to a student who is a first or second generation Canadian and who is active at volunteering within the community. Education is a valuable pursuit within Winnipeg’s tight-knit Indian community, but the India Centre recognizes that not all families have equal opportuntiies to send their children to university. This bursary was designed to recognize a need in our community and support anyone from the community wishing to obtain a post-secondary education at The University of Winnipeg. Funding for this bursary will be provided by the India Centre for Academic, Business and Community Excellence.
