Platinum Jets Opportunity Fund Bursary - Undergraduate

This bursary was established in 2014 by the Platinum Jets Inc. many of whom are alumni of The University of Winnipeg, in recognition of Dr. Lloyd Axworthy’s outstanding contributions to the University along with the University’s role in the formation of the Platinum Jets Inc. organization. Recipients must demonstrate financial need. These bursaries are part of The University of Winnipeg’s Opportunity Fund, which helps to ensure that everyone, regardless of background and socioeconomic status, has access to higher education and opportunities. The goal is to ensure access to a University education, bridge the graduation gap, and transform lives through education. It is specifically designed to assist Indigenous students, people from war-affected nations and refugee populations, and students from inner-city neighborhoods.
