Harry and Shirley Duckworth Leadership Award

This award was established by the Office of the Dean of the Gupta Faculty of Kinesiology and Applied Health in 2015-16 to commemorate the 25th anniversary of the Duckworth challenge. The award will be presented each year at The University of Winnipeg hosted portion of the Duckworth Challenge. The recipient will be a full-time student who is a member of The University of Winnipeg athletic program. The recipient must be in good standing with the University, have already completed at least 18 credit hours prior to the beginning of the current academic year and been a member of the Wesmen program for at least one season. The award winner will have demonstrated strong leadership in their program and be active in the local community.
