Herbert J. Mays Scholarship in Canadian History

Established in memory of Dr. Herbert J. Mays, this scholarship will be awarded to a student of outstanding academic promise who is studying Canadian History and who is entering either Fourth Year Honours or a program leading to a Master’s degree at The University of Winnipeg. Preference will be given to those who have demonstrated interest in Canadian Social History. The scholarship is established by family and friends of Dr. Mays, teacher, department chair, senior administrator, and fellow of United College. Dr. Mays made significant contributions to The University of Winnipeg’s Department of History and University-wide administration.
