People's Co-op Prize
This prize was established by the People’s Co-operative Limited (1928-1992) through The Winnipeg Foundation as a legacy to the Co-operative’s immigrant founders who saw education as an important aim of the People’s Co-op. The prize will be awarded to an undergraduate student with an interest and proficiency in progressive labour studies as demonstrated in a paper completed as part of course requirements and submitted for this award. Preference will be given to students whose work includes a study of the role and contribution of co-operatives.
