Eli and Betty Gallant Memorial Bursary

This bursary is established by Marie and Graham Lane in memory of Eli and Betty Gallant, Marie’s deceased parents. Eli and Betty were born and lived in Manitoba their entire lives. They had three children (Ray, Allan and Marie), and eleven grandchildren. Eli served his country overseas for the full six years of the Second World War, and his community thereafter. Betty was an excellent student, and conveyed her love of learning and faith to her children and her community. It will be awarded to an Indigenous student in any undergraduate degree program.
