Victor Leathers Scholarship in History

The members of the Department of History have established this scholarship in honour of the late Dr.Victor Leathers for his contribution to the teaching of the History of Art at The University of Winnipeg. On the recommendation of the History faculty, the scholarship will be awarded to a continuing Major or Honours History student of demonstrated scholarly ability in all subjects, with special consideration for proficiency in either a second language or statistics. Failing a strong candidate in either of these fields the scholarship may be given to a student with high standing in any second field. It is not to be held in conjunction with any other history scholarships.
