Vivian Doris Glass Memorial Scholarship

This scholarship was established through a bequest to The Winnipeg Foundation from the estate of Vivian Doris Glass, an alumna of The University of Winnipeg. This scholarship will support a student studying in the Faculty of Education at The University of Winnipeg, who has demonstrated excellent academic standing and the desire to learn. Ms Vivian Doris Glass was a valued educator who began her teaching career in 1940 in a one-room schoolhouse. Throughout the years, Vivian instilled in her students a love of learning and trying one’s best; the establishment of this scholarship honours this spirit.
