Katharina Kehler Spanish Studies Scholarship

This scholarship was established by Dr. Elizabeth Dawes in memory of her mother-in-law Katharina Krahn Kehler (1922-2007), who emigrated to Paraguay before returning to Manitoba where she left school after grade six to help support her family. It is awarded, upon the recommendation of the Department of Modern Languages and Literatures, to a continuing student who has completed SPAN-2001 with distinguished performance. Preference will be given to a student with a declared major or minor in Spanish Studies.
