Rhodes Scholarship

The Rhodes Scholarship is a postgraduate scholarship supporting exceptional students from around the world to study at the University of Oxford. Ninety-five outstanding undergraduate students are awarded the scholarship each year, from 20 Rhodes constituencies (64 countries) worldwide. The scholarship includes full tuition, a maintenance stipend, and flights to and from Oxford at the beginning and end of tenure. Scholars may pursue any full-time postgraduate degree (subject to limited restrictions) offered by the University of Oxford, for a duration of 2-3 years. For full details on the application requirements for nominated students, please see the Rhodes Scholarship website.

The University of Winnipeg acknowledges that the history and legacy of Cecil Rhodes prompts important discussions and reflections about racism both past and present. Please see the statement issued by the Rhodes Trust.

Selected nominee(s) from the UW Rhodes Internal Selection process will receive a letter of endorsement from the President.
