Henry Mak Memorial Award

The Henry Mak Memorial Award will support students enrolled in a four-year or Honours degree program in the Faculty of Arts or the Faculty of Science (excluding joint programs). Preference will be given to Honours degree students. Recipients must have a grade point average of at least 3.0, demonstrate financial need, and may receive the award multiple years if they meet award criteria in each year. Preference will be given to students living independently of their parents/family. Preference may also be given to students who did not attend high school in Winnipeg, students who are in the upper years of their program and/or student who are majoring in Psychology. This award was established by a `78 Psychology graduate for whom the University‘s financial support made an essential contribution to his subsequent success as a clinical psychologist.
