Jennifer Logan Memorial Award

Established by friends and family in memory of Jennifer Logan, this award will support a current student at The University of Winnipeg who is involved with the World University Service of Canada (WUSC) or is a refugee. Jennifer Joy Logan graduated from The University of Winnipeg in 2006 with a Bachelor of Arts in Geography. Jennifer was an adventurous and fearless young woman. She travelled the globe making friends, but always with the goal of making a positive difference. She was passionate about the value of education and devoted a lot of her life to teaching. She taught abused women and orphans in Nepal, children in India and young women in Saudi Arabia. She was a member and chairperson of the WUSC Local Committee and helped to sponsor refugee students to attend The University of Winnipeg. This award will honour her memory and continue her work by offering help to refugee students.
