Anne Mahon Opportunity Bursary

This bursary will provide financial support and encouragement to refugees and newcomers from Africa to discover the advantages and benefits to a University education. This award is established by Anne Mahon and funded with a portion of proceeds from her book “The Lucky Ones: African Refugees’ Stories of Extraordinary Courage”, about the African community in Winnipeg. Preference will be given to individuals profiled in the book and their children.
