The John Krahn Award

The John Krahn Award will support students majoring in Chemistry or Environmental Studies and Sciences. Selection will be based on a combination of a student’s academic standing and financial need. UWinnipeg Alumnus, Class of 1968, Dr. John Krahn graduated with a Bachelor of Science. Inspired by fond memories of his own student experience, especially those of two professors, Dr. Frederick Barth (Chemistry) and Dr. James Duff (Physics), who made a great impact on his career, John created an award to help foster a similar experience for future students in the Faculty of Science.
